This page explains, in plain terms, who owns what — your site, your domain — and exactly what happens, step by step, if a payment runs late. We’ve written it this clearly on purpose: we want you to know exactly what to expect before we start working together.

1. Who owns your website and your domain

Your domain is yours from day one. You buy and pay for it directly, in your own name — we tell you how, and we connect it to your site at no extra cost. It never passes through our hands: we don’t register it, we don’t administer it, and we cannot hold it back or take it away under any circumstance.

Your site, published and live, is the service we provide for as long as Continuous improvement is current: the design and the monthly work on your site, with hosting included as part of keeping your site alive. If Continuous improvement stops being paid, the service — your site being published and live — pauses. The domain, which is yours, is never touched. And if you simply want to stop the monthly work without your site going anywhere, you don’t have to stop paying to do it: there is a $29 a month floor that keeps your site published (see below).

2. How payment works

  • To start: $995. Includes your custom site design and your first month of Continuous improvement — which already includes the hosting your site needs to be live. Your domain is purchased separately, directly in your name (Section 1).
  • Continuous improvement: $96 a month, starting the second month. The price is fixed, with no discounts; we’ll agree with you directly on the payment arrangement when you sign up.

3. If a payment runs late: the exact timeline

Because Continuous improvement is paid in advance, we will never bill you for service you already used and didn’t pay for — the only situation that can happen is not renewing the next payment on time. The timeline below is counted from the due date we agreed with you:

Day 0 — the agreed payment is due. We send a reminder with your site’s report and payment instructions.
Days 1–9 — grace period. Your site keeps working normally. We send one or two more reminders.
Day 10 — if we still haven’t received payment, we suspend your site: instead of your website, visitors see a simple page noting that the site is temporarily offline. Nothing is deleted.
Pay between day 10 and day 29? Your site is reactivated as soon as we confirm the payment — it goes back to exactly how it was.
Day 30 — if payment still hasn’t arrived, we end the service: your site stops being published. Your domain is not affected in any way — it was always in your name and under your control, never ours; you decide whether to connect it to another site, leave it parked, or come back to us later.
You never have to get here. If what you want is to stop the monthly work and keep your website online, tell us and we move you to the floor: $29 a month — your site published, secure and backed up, with no monthly work on it. Nothing is suspended and nothing is deleted, and you can move back up to the full plan any month you want. Losing your website should never be the price of pausing.

4. If you decide to cancel

You can stop working with us whenever you want, with no penalty — just give us reasonable notice. Your domain is not affected: it was always yours and never depended on us. Periods already paid for are non-refundable, since they correspond to service already delivered or in progress.

5. Refunds

The amount you pay to start is non-refundable once your site is published. If something went wrong on our end before delivery, we’ll work it out with you case by case — just reach out.
