Cancellation and renewal.

Last updated: September 9, 2026

This page explains, in plain terms, who owns what — your site, your domain — and exactly what happens when your annual hosting comes up for renewal, or when you decide to stop. We’ve written it this clearly on purpose: we want you to know what to expect before we start working together.

While you only have a preview, there is nothing here to cancel. The preview is free, creates no obligation, and we delete it whenever you ask. Everything below starts on the day your site goes live and you pay.

1. Who owns your website and your domain

Your domain is yours from day one. You buy and pay for it directly, in your own name and in your own account — we tell you how, and we connect it to your site at no extra cost. It never passes through our hands: we don’t register it, we don’t administer it, and we cannot hold it back or take it away under any circumstance. Your domain renewal is yours to pay, and it is not part of anything we charge.

Your logo, photos and text are yours at all times. Ask us for them and we send them to you.

Your website, published and live, is a hosted service — and the files are yours to ask for. It runs on our platform for as long as your hosting is current. If you have paid for your site, you can ask us at any time for a copy of your site as delivered plus your images, text and logo, at no charge. The contact form has to be reconnected on another host because it sends through our server. We hand over the files; we do not migrate the site for you. Full detail in Section 3 of the Terms of service.

2. How payment works

  • Your preview: $0. Free, and it creates no debt and no commitment.
  • Design and launch: $995, once, on the day your approved site goes live. It includes your first 12 months of hosting, counted from that day. Your domain is bought separately, in your name (Section 1).
  • Hosting from month 13: $180 a year, billed annually. There is no mandatory monthly service plan, and nothing recurring is added to your account without your agreement.
  • Optional work — content changes, new pages, redesign, SEO, Google Business Profile — is quoted and agreed before it starts, and is never billed automatically.

3. Stopping optional work

Optional work is bought one job at a time, so there is nothing to cancel: you simply stop asking for it. Stopping optional work has no effect on hosting you have already paid for. Your site stays exactly where it is for the rest of the period you have paid through.

4. Your annual hosting renewal

Your hosting is paid in advance, so we will never bill you for a period you already used and did not pay for. Before each renewal we write to you with the amount and the date, so the renewal is never a surprise.

If you renew — your site carries on exactly as it is, with hosting, HTTPS/SSL, backups and hosting support for another 12 months.
If you choose not to renew — your hosting runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and after that your site stops being published. Your domain is not affected in any way: it was always in your name and under your control. Your logo, photos and text come back to you on request.
If a renewal simply goes unpaid — we treat it the same way, and we write to you before your paid-through date arrives rather than after. We do not charge late fees.

We do not enrol you in automatic renewal without asking you first, and we do not store a card to charge you with. If at some point we offer automatic renewal, it will be something you opt into in writing, with the price and the frequency stated, and cancelling it will be as easy as starting it.

5. If you decide to stop altogether

You can stop working with us whenever you want, with no penalty — just write to us. Your domain is not affected: it was always yours and never depended on us. Periods already paid for are not refunded, since they correspond to service already delivered or in progress.

6. Refunds

The design-and-launch fee is non-refundable once your site is published. If something went wrong on our end before delivery, we’ll work it out with you case by case — just reach out.

7. Clients from before September 9, 2026

If you signed up under the earlier terms — the one-time launch fee plus a monthly plan — your agreement is unchanged. This page describes the offer we sell today; it does not modify your billing, your plan, or what you already agreed to. If you want to move to the current offer, write to us and we will tell you what that would mean for you before anything changes.
